3rd Blonay Workshop for Contemporary Quartet Music
- The Pro-Bio Foundation is pleased to announce that the Third Workshop for Contemporary Quartet Music will take place from June 8-14, 2010 in Blonay, Switzerland.
- The quartet-in-residence will be the Arditti Quartet
- Brian Ferneyhough will be the composer-in-residence.
- Young composers with interest in music-of-our-time can participate. The composers should have experience in composing quartet music.
- The Pro-Bio Foundation will pay tuition fees as well as board and lodging costs. Please note that travel costs must be born by the participants.
- During the period of the workshop there will be daily master classes open to the public.
- A final concert will take place on Sunday 13 June pm by the Arditti Quartet playing several works by the composers participating at the summer school.
