2nd Blonay Workshop for Contemporary Quartet Music

The Pro-Bio Foundation is pleased to announce that the second Workshop for Contemporary Quartet Music will take place from June 14-22, 2008 in Blonay, Switzerland. The quartet-in-residence will be the Arditti Quartet and Wolfgang Rihm will be the composer-in-residence.

Several quartets and composers with interest in music-of-our-time can participate in this exciting workshop. All participating quartets must prepare one of the 12 quartets of Wolfgang Rihm as well as another quartet composed by an avant-garde mid-20th/21st century composer.
